Our Status Home 280 vacuum sealer is basically the Status HV500 upgraded to the latest technology and keeping up with the advances in home vacuum sealing. The Status Home 280 is encased in the same strong ABS housing, with updated and added functionality. The locking system for manual use is stronger and easier to use. The built in liquid trap is much easier to remove and clean if needed. We have also added liquid shut down protection and overheating shut down protection which has only been found on professional and commercial machines in the past. A bigger pump drawing 210w. New modern design with all electronics upgraded to the latest technology, but is still a breeze to use.

- Seal - Used for making a bag from a roll. Place the end of the bag over the sealing bar, push the seal button and put pressure down on the lid for2 - 3 seconds. You can lock the lid down for this mode with the side locks on each end of the machine then pressure down on each side to release them.
- Bag - Place the opening of the bag between the foam seals, close the lid and push bag. Push down for 2 - 3 seconds, it will go to full vacuum and the switch over to seal automatically. If you want to seal early just push the bag button again and it will force it into a seal.
- Container - Used with the lid open and the canister hose on the small round port, right hand side of the vacuum channel. Machine will shut off once the canister has reached full vacuum.
- Note - To cancel any operation mid-way, the machine must be turned off at the wall.
