Generic Teflon Heat Strip – 10 Metre Roll
Replace worn or damaged Teflon tape on your vacuum sealer or impulse sealer with this self-adhesive, cut-to-length heat strip. Suitable for a wide range of domestic and commercial machines, including external bag and chamber vacuum sealers, when matched to the correct strip width and thickness.
All widths come in a 10 metre roll. Select the width required for your machine before ordering.

Width Guide for Our Vacuum Sealers
- Status HV 100: 15 mm as supplied; 13 mm can also be used.
- Status HV 500 and Home 280: 13 mm.
- Status Solid 300 and Provac 360: 20 mm.
- Preservac K1 and VacBuddy: 10 mm.
- Preservac P2, VacMate, LiquidVac, i300, i400 and DuoVac: 15 mm.
For other models, measure the existing tape and check the required thickness. If you need help choosing, contact us with your machine model and strip dimensions.
Installation
- Unplug the machine and allow the seal bar to cool completely.
- Carefully remove the old tape without damaging or moving the heating wire underneath.
- Clean the contact area and allow it to dry.
- Cut the replacement tape to length and remove its backing.
- Apply smoothly, ensuring the heating wire is covered and there are no wrinkles or gaps.
When Should You Replace It?
Replace tape that is burnt, worn, torn or peeling. Using a suitable bag, make two test seals in separate positions. An imperfection appearing in the same position on both seals may indicate damaged tape or another seal-bar fault. Inspect the tape before continuing.

I had to replace the teflon tape, heating strip cover, on my due to some sort of 'muck' getting under the heating strip and causing a small mound which was melting a hole in the seal. I contacted Bryce, got his advice, ordered new Teflon heating strip tape and when it arrived, a few days later, cleaned under the heating strip, and replaced the Teflon cover. Fixed my problem. Good advice and easily fixed my problem.. Great guy to deal with. Thanks Bryce.
