ALL HEAT STRIPS COME IN 10 METER ROLLS
This is a generic type replacement Teflon heat strip for your vacuum sealer, this means it will fit a wide range of vacuum sealer and impulse sealer models that have a Teflon heat strip 10 mm to 50 mm wide, they are 10m long. This would include your domestic or commercial food vacuum sealers. Both external bag vacuum sealers and chamber vacuum sealers. Also suitable for impulse sealers
This Generic Teflon heat strip can be cut as required to any length that suits your application. The main material is made by impregnating fiberglass in to PTFE, then coating with silicone adhesive. This gives it excellent heat resistant and strength. It gives good friction coefficient, good insulation, and good corrosion resistance. Heat resistant for instant heat to short term 320 deg c, for long term 260 deg c. Thickness of the Teflon tape is 0.13mm which is ideal for most vacuum sealers and impulse sealers.

- Status HV 100 - New is sent out with a 15 mm heat strip but the 13mm will do the job as well.
- Status HV 500 - Takes the 13 mm heat strip.
- Status Home 280 - Requires the 13 mm heat strip.
- Status Solid 300 - Uses a 20 mm wide Teflon heat strip.
- Status Provac 360 - Has a 20 mm wide Teflon Heat strip.
- Preservac K1 & VacBuddy - Will require a 10 mm Teflon heat strip.
- Preservac P2 & VacMate - Needs a 15 mm Teflon heat strip.
- Preservac LiquidVac - Will need a 15 mm Teflon heat strip.
- Preservac i300 - Takes a 15 mm Teflon heat strip.
- Preservac i400 - Also takes a 15 mm Teflon heat strip.
- Preservac DuoVac - Will take the 15 mm Teflon heat strip.
Installing the Generic Teflon heat strip
- Peel away the old Teflon heat strip. Do not damage the wire underneath.
- Clean the area and do not disturb the wire.
- Cut the new Teflon heat strip to length.
- Peel the backing off the new Generic Teflon heat strip and stick it in place.
- Or pull it off the roll I have put it on.
- Run your finger over the new heat strip to ensure it is in place and there are no imperfections along it.
The Generic Teflon heat strip
This Generic Teflon heat strip can easily fit many other models of domestic vacuum sealers on the market. If you are unsure please contact us with the width of the strip and the length. It is essential to have a Teflon heat strip on your vacuum sealer as if it is not, you will melt through the bag. It will also need to be in good condition, or it may affect certain parts of the seal.
To check the Teflon heat strip seal.
Firstly, it is important to use a good quality roll film or bags as poor quality will not seal properly any way. Do a seal on the end of a piece of roll film. The seal should be clear and the same all the way and no imperfections in it. If there is a fault in the seal then do another seal below or above the first one. If the imperfection is in the same place each time, then the Teflon strip is damaged in that spot. The Teflon heat strip will need replacing.

I had to replace the teflon tape, heating strip cover, on my due to some sort of 'muck' getting under the heating strip and causing a small mound which was melting a hole in the seal. I contacted Bryce, got his advice, ordered new Teflon heating strip tape and when it arrived, a few days later, cleaned under the heating strip, and replaced the Teflon cover. Fixed my problem. Good advice and easily fixed my problem.. Great guy to deal with. Thanks Bryce.
