Food Vacuum Canister Hose

Connect your vacuum sealer to a compatible food vacuum canister with a Food Vacuum Canister Hose. The hose lets your machine remove air from the canister, giving you another useful way to store food and prepare meals.

Choose from three hose types to suit your vacuum sealer and canister valve. Please check both connections before ordering.

Choose Your Hose

• Status canister hose: Suitable for Status vacuum sealers and Status canisters, as well as canisters with a similar connection.
• Preservac canister hose: Suitable for Preservac vacuum sealers and canisters with a valve opening that accepts the hose end.
• Preservac canister hose with cup: Suitable for Preservac vacuum sealers and compatible canisters with a round valve that fits beneath the cup. This includes FVSA Glass, Status, Tritan and Munro vacuum canisters.

The hoses may also suit other brands, but compatibility should be checked before ordering. If you’re unsure which hose you need, contact us with your vacuum sealer and canister details.

Check Your Preservac Machine First

All Preservac models except the DuoVac come with a canister hose. The hose is stored in the following locations:

• VacBuddy, VacMate and LiquidVac: Underneath the lid.
• VacBro and VacBloke: On the left-hand side when looking at the front of the machine.

How to Use

1. Place the lid securely on your compatible vacuum canister.
2. Connect the smaller end of the hose to the vacuum port on your machine.
3. Connect or position the other end over the canister valve, according to your hose type.
4. Run the canister function as directed in your vacuum sealer’s instructions. The machine will stop automatically when it reaches its vacuum level.
5. Disconnect the hose. To open the canister, release the vacuum using its valve before undoing the side clamps.

When cleaning your canister, check that the sealing area and the underside of the rubber seal are free from food particles.
